Dr. Marie Haddock graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. A California native, she completed a double major BA in integrative biology and German at the University of California, Berkeley. While at Cal she supplemented her studies with plenty of time on the water as a varsity rower.
Dr. Haddock’s love of animals started at a very early age. One of her fondest memories is feeding horses sugar cubes with her grandparents. Growing up on a family produce farm led to many adventures with horses, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, and dogs and cats. Her early experiences with animals led to a strong desire to incorporate her passion with her profession.
Dr. Haddock met her husband, a product of Rochester, MI, while pursuing an equine internship after veterinary school. They now happily reside with their three children in Oakland Township. In her spare time, Dr. Haddock enjoys running with her Rhodesian Ridgeback, Kaya, cooking, reading, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.
